It is with a heavy heart that we post tonight and give you the news that North Texas MX Park is now closed.
With low rider participation, increasing costs, and a tanking economy it has been hard to keep the track going. We have exhausted all efforts to keep the track running, and have now made the decision to close the gates for good. Our landlord has demanded that we carry insurance, or vacate the property. That is a payment we just cannot afford on top of everything else. So, our only choice is to close.
We hope you have enjoyed our unique style of track management and we certainly have enjoyed meeting and racing with all of you.
This was a hard, but a necessary decision to make that has affected our entire family.
We hope to keep promoting motocross and plan to continue racing with all of you at other tracks.
For those of you who were planning on racing our race next weekend, it is being moved and will be announced ASAP.
Again, a HUGE thank you to all of our racers and their families. You have given us go many great times and we know that there are so many more to come.
Who knows.... there just may be a NTMX #2 at a different location one day!
See you guys at the races!
Thanks for all the support and God Bless you all.
Spanky, Amber, Colton, Erin, and John Parks

Hey Spanky and Amber, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive and I am sure everybody will understand that, especially in these times. With that said my family and I have met some great friends, including you all, and have had some of the best times ever at NTMX.....from Hunter winning his first 65 and 85 races at NTMX to the late night bon-fires and car races . NTMX will always be a special place for us as it has definetely catapulted Hunters mx ablilities and provided some of the greatest father son moments I could ask for.
Now, load up that VW Van and go racing with us. _________________ Dad (Brian) - Hunter Poarch #381

Well this just sucks!
We too have always enjoyed going out to your track. We have met some great friends there and have lots of great memories.
Brandon will be sad to hear that his favorite track is gone.
We wish you and your family all the best,

NTMX along with all the races you have promoted have been some of the best times Connor and I have ever had. When I told Connor his "home track" is closing he was crushed.
Thanks for the great times NTMX _________________ Connor's Dad

Mrs. AFRO said Presten cried when she finally told him tonight, and was wanting to know where he is going to ride.
When she told me that, it finally hit me, and my eyes are teared... JUST ALITTLE!
Spanky has learned alot with NTMX....
most importantly your landlord must be dedicated to motocross...
from the first year they were unhappy and didn't realized what a motocross track actually was and have been on Spanky's case for something ever since.
now it's time to sit back and watch someone else prep!! _________________ AFROracing.com
